| The project is a new community center building located in an existing park in the City of Bell, California. The client requested a multi-functional and flexible building with very low maintenance that blended with the exterior concrete and steel finishes of the adjacent baseball facility. The building interior is comprised of a large assembly hall that can be partitioned into two classrooms to accommodate large of small functions. The project was awarded Best Community Development Building in 2006 by the San Fernando Valley Chapter of the AIA. |
